Abstract
This article, co-authored by a supervisor and a supervisee, describes a supervision session during which experiential exercises were used to stimulate right-hemispheric creativity and to integrate this creativity with left-hemispheric cognition in the process of treatment planning in transactional analysis psychotherapy.

Petrūska Clarkson
Petruska Clarkson, M.A., Ph.D., is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and practicing psychotherapist, a certified Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (Clinical) of the ITAA, and Principal Clinical Psychologist Director of the metanoia Psychotherapy Training Institute in London. She has served on the ITAA Board of Trustees, is Chairperson of the Gestalt Training Institute of Great Britain, and Chair for the British Institute for the Integration of the Psychotherapies (BIIP), which is affiliated with the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI) International.
Elana Leigh
Elana Leigh, B. Soc. Sc., is a social worker specializing in group work in South Africa, Australia, and Britain. Her interest in personal growth and development has extended from leading multicultural workshops on burnout in South Africa, to conference workshops on friendship (with Fran Lacey) in Britain and Europe. She is a Certified Transactional Analyst and a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (Clinical). She is also a trainer in the metanoia TA Psychotherapy Training Program and runs a private psychotherapy practice in North London. She is a member of the Institute of Transactional Analysis Council in Britain and served on its Ethics Subcommittee.
