Following publication of the Research Article by Melissa Bersanelli, Letizia Gnetti, Elena Varotti, Luca Ampollini, Paolo Carbognani, Francesco Leonardi, Michele Rusca, Nicoletta Campanini, Francesco Ziglioli, Clara I Dadomo, Francesco P Pilato, Alessio Cortellini, Elena Rapacchi, Giuseppe Caruso, Enrico M Silini, Umberto Maestroni & Sebastiano Buti, titled ‘Immune context characterization and heterogeneity in primary tumors and pulmonary metastases from renal cell carcinoma’, which appeared in the January 2019 issue of Immunotherapy (Immunotherapy 11[1], 21–35 [2019]; DOI: 10.2217/imt-2018-0097), it has been brought to our attention that there was an error in Figure 5 and a print error in .

In Figure 5, labels A and B were lacking and the legends should have read for image A: PD-L1 instead of PD-1; and for image B, PD-L1 RILs M positive and negative instead of PD-1 TILs positive and negative.

The correct figure 5 is shown below:

In the three values reported in the first row were misaligned and did not correspond to the relative items as indicated in the first column.
