Notes on a type of fish‐gorge from BengalFootnote1The present article relates to the specimens found in Tippera District, Bengal, India. The author later on traced the device in the District of 24‐Parganas and on his request Mr. M. N. Bose of the Department of Anthropology, Calcutta University, made enquiries in the District of Jessore of the same Province and found it there. Mr. T. C. Ray Chowdhury of the same department informed the author that spring‐gorge is also found in Faridpur District of the same Province.
