Estimating the location of magnetic sources using magnetic gradient tensor dataFootnote*Estimating the locations of magnetic sources is an important process in geophysical surveys, so a study of the interpretation of magnetic fields data is very necessary. This method reduces the effects of total magnetisation and calculates vertical locations without any prior information about the structural index of the source. This method can be used in unexploded ordnance, UXO detection, and mineral and petroleum exploration.
