References

  • The absurdity of this delusion, and the fact that French philosophy is not all exhausted, can be proved by reading Peter Hallward's excellent issue of Angelaki, ‘The One or the Other: French Philosophy’, vol. 8, no. 2, 2003.
  • Others have written about Blanchot's politics, most notably Leslie Hill in Blanchot: Extreme Contemporary (London & New York: Routledge, 1997) and Jeffrey Mehlman in Logics of Anti-Semitism in France (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1983), but have not exclusively focused upon the importance of communism.
