Survey of Recent DevelopmentsFootnote¹

¹ This Survey is based on interviews conducted in Indonesia during July and August and on press reports through to October. The author wishes to acknowledge the valuable assistance of the staff of Bappenas, BPS, Bulog and the Department of Agriculture, and insights and comments received from colleagues in Indonesia, Australia and the US.
