  • The factorized form of the susceptibility is often used for the analysis of Infra-red reflection spectra since the IR spectra depend explicitly on the LO/TO information. [7] In Raman spectra, LO/TO information cannot be obtained in a single spectrum. Thus it is not suitable for the analysis of the Raman spectra. Moreover, the factorized form includes too many parameters for the analysis of the overdamped mode coupled with other mode such as in the KDP case.
