the LAB: Bilirubin Measurement in the Newborn: Need for a Common Reference Standard in Serum

S. Raymond Gambino Dr. Gambino is director of laboratories, Englewood (N. J.) Hospital, and assistant professor of pathology, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York City. As a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists' Council on Clinical Chemistry, he has directed the clinical chemistry check-sample program and prepared a manual on bilirubin assay as a major critique for this program.
