The force applied on the pistons was ca. 500 kg; our conductivity value is difficult to compare to the data given in Ref. 5: R > 106 Ω (for 0.1 mg compressed in a glass capillary between two steel pistons of 2 mm diameter). However, both results are clearly indicative of a rather low conductivity
