Transit Provisions of the Energy Charter Treaty and the Energy Charter Protocol on Transit

Karl Petter Waern Karl Petter Waern is Sivok HAE and Senior Expert at the Energy Charter Secretariat, Brussels, Belgium. He is currently on secondment from Statoil ASA, Norway. He was formerly Managing Director of NETRA Norddeutsche Erdgas Transversale GmbH, Germany and an Adviser to Statoil ASA, Norway. Previous positions include an assistant professorship at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.
