• Solubility of the crude solid of lower complex homologues, n = 4, 2 and 1, in dichloromethane was very low, the last one being practically insoluble. Purification could not be completed in this case but a precipitate obtained by cooling its solution in 1:1 DMF:ethanol, gave a sufficiently definable melting point.
