  • For the purposes of implementing the applied methodology, the typical transit time between all pairs of ports has been estimated on the basis of data provided by a third-party trade and freight information agent (www.searates.com), without consideration of which specific shipping lines link the ports or the number of transhipment ports involved in movements. One extra day has been added to this estimated general transit time in order to allow some flexibility in loading and discharging
