- In experimental augmented meetings, text notes were taken in Augment(tm) from Tymshare Inc. Augment permits detailed note taking as well as conceptual outlining. Its structural capabilities permit much greater speed in moving the display through the notes and restructuring ideas than would conventional word processors. Thus, Augment could be considered a semantic decision support system .
- Experimental meetings used VisiCalc(tm) from Software Arts Inc as the spreadsheet. Systems like VisiCalc are familiar to many personal computer users, they are very flexible, and they show results in a clear and intuitive way .
