She has been analyzing skeletal remains from an Italian ossuary in Chiavari, GE since February 2008. Armando MannucciDr. Armando Mannucci graduated with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of FlorenceItaly, in 1988 and received a Ph.D. in Legal Medicine in 1995. Since 2001, he has been serving as Chief Medico-legal Examiner for the Local Sanitary Unit (ASL) 4 of the Italian National Health System in Chiavari (GE), after having completed several years of medico-legal and forensic science research in Italy and in the United Kingdom.

Giuseppe VercellottiDr. Giuseppe Vercellotti obtained a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Pisa, Italy, and a Ph.D. in Anthropology at The Ohio State University, where he is currently an adjunct assistant professor and Program Coordinator of the Field School in Archaeology and Bioarchaeology at Badia Pozzeveri, Italy. His research interests include bioarchaeology and paleopathology, skeletal functional morphology, and the causes and mechanisms of biological variation in human populations.
