  • South African Patent 83 09,184 (1984) Microencapsulation by interchange of multiple emulsions MOORE BUSINESS FORMS INC. H. Y. Chao. Microencapsulation of reagents for copying systems is achieved by mixing emulsions to form polymer walls enclosing dye precursor. The microcapsules were coated onto a back paper which produced a blue image upon impact on an active clay coated front sheet.

  • UK Patent Application 2,140,745 (1984) Paper for electrostatography using encapsulated toner FUIJI PHOTO FILM CO. LTD. An electrophotographic encapsulated toner image paper receptor with an extremely smooth surface was prepared resulting both in improved fixing property and off-setting.

  • US Patent 4,483,929 (1984) Liposomes with glycolipid-linked antibodies LIPOSOME TECHNOLOGY INC. F. C. Szoka. A method useful for detecting ligands in both fluids for disease diagnosis uses a reagent including a suspension of liposomes containing reported molecules e.g. chromogens.
