Reports: Concise reports highlighting significant experimental findings.

Commentaries: Insightful discussions on emerging topics and critical issues in pharmacology.

*The journal strictly does not consider meta-analyses for publication.

Article Collections : JEP periodically publishes Article Collection dedicated to curated collections of papers centered around specific topics. These issues serve to foster discussions on cutting-edge research, cultivate novel ideas, and shape new research directions in the field of experimental pharmacology. Each Article Collection is coordinated by Guest Advisor who are esteemed experts in their respective fields. The selection of Guest Advisor and the evaluation of proposals for Article Collections are overseen by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. This ensures that the content of the Article Collections maintains high relevance and aligns closely with the journal's scope and standards. For inquiries regarding an Article Collection or to propose a topic, please reach out to the Editorial Office. Open access

Journal of Experimental Pharmacology is an open access journal and only publishes open access articles. Publishing open access means that your article will be free to access online immediately on publication, increasing the visibility, readership, and impact of your research.

Why choose open access?

  1. Increase the discoverability and readership of your article
  2. Make an impact and reach new readers, not just those with easy access to a research library
  3. Freely share your work with anyone, anywhere
  4. Comply with funding mandates and meet the requirements of your institution, employer or funder
  5. Rigorous peer review for every open access article

Article Publishing Charges (APC)

To publish open access in this journal you may be asked to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC). You may be able to publish your article at no cost to yourself or with a reduced APC if your institution or research funder has an open access agreement or membership with Taylor & Francis.
