Aims and scope

This title has ceased (2019).

The field of lipidology is developing rapidly. Clinical Lipidology will help update those involved in all aspects of this field. Because this is an Open Access journal, the information will be freely available to all. Clinical Lipidology will consider original papers, reviews, commentaries, editorials, case reports and correspondence relating to the following areas:

• Related cardiovascular diseases and atherosclerosis
• Treatment of lipid-related disorders (including prevention)
• Side effects of lipid-lowering medication and adherence to treatment
• Cost-effectiveness
• Obesity and the metabolic syndrome
• Dietary measures (including nutraceuticals)
• Summaries of newly approved therapeutic agents
• Comments on recent clinical trials relevant to the field of lipidology
• Diagnostic and clinical criteria
• Research in emerging areas in the field of lipidology
• Commentaries on guidelines, trials and other publications
• Genetics
• Epidemiology
• Experimental models of dyslipidaemia
• Case reports
• Laboratory investigations and new biomarkers related to lipids

There are no submission fees for this journal. The standard article publishing charge (APC) for this journal is £770 / $1000 / €885. Depending on your location these charges may be subject to local taxes.
