Aims and scope

The Journal of Convention and Event Tourism offers a global, multidisciplinary perspective on the dynamic and ever-changing meetings, exhibitions, events, and conventions industry (MEEC). JCET strives to be the leading source of peer reviewed/refereed manuscripts, critical research reviews, conference reviews, viewpoints, and other types of submissions subject to the editorial team approval. All submissions should be relevant to stakeholders in the MEEC industry (e.g., educators and students, industry practitioners, government agencies, as well as others). JCET seeks to provide relevant, crucial, and timely information to all stakeholders.

JCET considers publishing special issues on topics within the MEEC industry. If you have a special issue idea and would be interested in guest editing an issue, please complete this interest and informational form.

Peer Review Policy: Research Articles and Research Notes submitted to this journal a “double-anonymous” peer review by two to three referees, after initial technical review, and final review by editorial team. Industry Perspectives and Conference Reviews are reviewed by Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief.
