Aims and scope

The Journal of Teaching in Travel & Tourism is the professional journal of the International Society of Travel & Tourism Educators (ISTTE). This journal serves as an international interdisciplinary forum and reference source for travel and tourism education. The readership of the journal is international in scope, with a good representation in college and university libraries as well as high schools and professional schools offering courses in travel and tourism.

The Journal of Teaching in Travel and Tourism publishes quality manuscripts relating to travel and tourism education at various levels, ranging from proprietary schools to advance degree-granting universities. The journal regularly publishes features and columns to introduce educators and educators-in-training to new concepts and approaches. These special sections and features include:

Peer Review Integrity
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double anonymized and submission is online via ScholarOne Manuscripts.
