Physical and mental wellness and self-advancement	Understand the languages and cultures of new immigrants and be willing to learn their languages
Logical thinking and problem-solving	Understand how their cultures condition new immigrants’ handling of their daily affairs
Planning, execution, innovation, and adaptation	Ability to use the language of new immigrants in different situations, so as to enrich the cultural experience and enhance flexibility and adaptability
Semiotics and expression	Possess basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the languages, and be able to conduct a simple conversation
Information and technology literacy and media literacy	Ability to use various technologies, information and media to learn the languages and cultures of new immigrants
Artistic appreciation and aesthetic literacy	Willingness to experience the art of living and appreciation for the cultural artistry of new immigrants
Moral praxis and citizenship	Understand the lifestyles of new immigrants and become aware of the problems new immigrants face
Interpersonal relationships and teamwork	Willingness to build friendships with people of different cultural backgrounds
Cultural and global understanding	Understand the cultural characteristics of new immigrants, enhance cultural richness and cultivate an international perspective
