Developments in intelligence collection, analysis, and practice have led an improved ability for law enforcement agencies to detect, disrupt and prosecute criminal activities. With criminal intelligence and intelligence-led policing becoming increasingly significant tools to combat crime, agencies have an incentive to share relevant information where possible.
