Advances in Remote Sensing: The Italian Remote Sensing Association (AIT) Perspective
The 8th National Conference of the Italian Remote Sensing Association (VIII Convegno Nazionale AIT; AIT2016) took place in Palermo (Italy), June 2016, bringing together high-quality contributions related to applied Remote Sensing research in different application domains on a national level.
All authors of extended abstracts that had been accepted for presentation at the conference were invited to submit an extended version of their work for a special issue of the European Journal of Remote Sensing entitled “Advances in Remote Sensing: The Italian Remote Sensing Association (AIT) Perspective”.
This special issue has brought together detailed studies and high-quality papers that focus on innovative applications for Earth Observation based on Remote Sensing data, acquired by using satellite, aerial or RPAS platforms.
