Imago Mundi, founded in 1935, is the only international, interdisciplinary and scholarly journal solely devoted to the study of early maps in all their aspects. There are two issues a year. All articles are refereed and represent original research. Over the last few years Imago Mundi has carried the insights of geographers, historians (especially those of art and science), social scientists, and literary scholars.
